Aderemi A. ALARAPE is an Associate Professor (Reader) at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Development Studies (formerly, Centre for Industrial Research and Development), Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He is a certified trainer for Urban informal sector operators, an experienced trainer of entrepreneurs and well-grounded in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and business development. He has designed and organised training programmes in the whole and vast field of entrepreneurship development, education and industrial development. He has successfully carried out consultancy works for both private and government institutions like Central Bank of Nigeria, Commercial Banks, Ministry of Labour and Productivity (National Directorate of Employment) and a member – Resource Person – Educational Sector Assessment, the Study 8 Group on the Assessment of Entrepreneurial Content of secondary and post-secondary subject. He is a principal contributor to the design and development of entrepreneurship training and education at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Presently, he coordinates the postgraduate studies of the Institute. He has over twenty-five academic publications in reputable journal across the world, primarily within the nexus of entrepreneurship, small business management and entrepreneurship education.
